About Me
If my mom were writing this, she’d brag about how I “taught myself” to read at four and learned my times tables early. But that was then, and now I’m probably just as air-headed as everyone else.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, I am the youngest of four sisters and a happy aunt to the most adorable children you’ll ever see. As a Mexican-American, I am thrilled when I have the opportunity to tell the stories of my ancestors in my work.
I’ve always felt the need to create. Whether it be in drawing classes, dance studios, or opera houses—I crave art. Throughout my childhood, I pursued professional projects including commercials, modeling, and a couple of small short films I have the littlest memory of. A few years after “retiring” from the industry at age 11 to center my focus on the tumultuous academia of the fifth grade, I chose to continue my artistic journey as a Musical Theatre student at California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley.
This spring, I graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Theatre and Musical Theatre Certificate. I’m incredibly lucky to have studied subjects from environmentalism to poetry to choreography to coding and more! I’m knee deep in just about everything I could think to try. My new home base is New York City. I am forever grateful to everyone and everything that has led me here.
